The editors of this blog will remain independent of any political party or candidate, so in other words, our news, analysis and opinions will reflect that of an independent mindset. Just because Sen. Kip Averitt is a Republican doesn't mean we'll remain silent on issues we don't agree on. Same goes for any representative.
